This shot is taken from Deepwater Point, Caloundra and shows the northern entrance to The Pumicestone Channel and the sand on the opposite bank is the northern tip of Bribie Island. The channel is a very popular location for beach and boat anglers. Golden Beach and the Glass House Mountains are just visible in the far background.

At Moffet Head we came across this mobile coffee vendor, he was doing a roaring trade at an outstanding view point. The coffee was great too, we did try it out! Look up http://thecoffeefix.com.au

We still have not taken possession of our Cruisliner but we only have approximately 5 weeks to wait now, I guess we will have to be patient a little time longer. In the mean time we are 'house and dog sitting' at Sippy Downs. This is quite like a holiday really. We are living in a new area with plenty of new sights to explore. Directly across the road is a park, named Windmill Park. This is quite handy for us to take the dog for a walk each day.
This is the reason for the name of the park, there really is a windmill. I presume this windmill would have been in this very position from a time when there would not have been any houses in the area, other than the original farm house.
