Caloundra

We had some business dealings to complete in Caloundra so we made a day of it and took in some of the tourist sights.

This shot is taken from Deepwater Point, Caloundra and shows the northern entrance to The Pumicestone Channel and the sand on the opposite bank is the northern tip of Bribie Island. The channel is a very popular location for beach and boat anglers. Golden Beach and the Glass House Mountains are just visible in the far background.

Looking south along Kings Beach with the swimming pools in the foreground behind Pandanus Palms.

At Moffet Head we came across this mobile coffee vendor, he was doing a roaring trade at an outstanding view point. The coffee was great too, we did try it out! Look up http://thecoffeefix.com.au
