Nindigully is located at the junction of the Barwon and Carnarvon Highways, 44 km SSE of St George. The free camp on the banks of the Moonie River is in front of the Pub. Take note of the muddy water.
Use of the toilets and showers at the Pub is by gold coin donation. We walk past this sign on each visit to the Pub.
This is a very popular camp spot, there could have been about 30 camps on the Saturday night.
On the Sunday a safari organised by the Lightning Ridge Police arrived. The convoy consisted of 28 vehicles and 74 people including children from the age of 16 weeks.
We all enjoyed the hospitality of the 'gully Pub to watch the NRL Grand Final on one of four TVs, one of these was in the outside bar.
The extensive, well watered beer garden.
We thoroughly enjoyed at our two night stay here.
This is still the Moonie River, you noticed the muddy water in the previous shot, well here is a question for you; if this is the same river how can the water in this shot be blue? The answer will be provided on the next post.
