Cania Gorge

After leaving Gympie on the morning of the 19th we travelled through to Cania Gorge Tourist Park where we met up with our great friends Belinda, Roger and Glen and stayed over for two nights. This park is located at the gateway to Cania Gorge National Park allowing easy access to walks through the park. The following images are some views along a 5.6 km route from the Tourist Park Entrance.

By taking a leisurely 10 km drive through the Gorge you can reach Lake Cania,

At Lake Cania there is a well maintained Picnic Area.

On our return from the drive through Cania Gorge, we were greeted by feeding time for the rainbow lorikeets and some other freeloaders at the Tourist Park, this occurs on a daily basis.
